My two boyz, Rex & Rowdy, both have the same parents, different litters. Rowdy's ears stood by themselves at about 10 weeks. Rex, on the other hand, has large thick ears and his ears have never stood. I tried taping them on 3 occasions, I kept them shaved till he was five months old. Nothing worked. Oh, if you use masking tape, it doesn't pull so much when you take it off.
Here is a picture of them taped, and then a pix of him and Rowdy. Many people think Rexy is the cutest with his "down" ears. I think they are both adorable, each in their own way.
