[Willow]

I was giving my girls a new treat today and Maddie was so excited over it that she chowed right down. It was so cute watching her eat it. Then all of a sudden she starts screaming in pain and didn't want anyone to touch her. My kids (fur and skin) all came running and I am screaming at everyone to back off so I could see what was wrong...I literally had to shove the others skin and fur out of my way to get to her. I picked her up and then I realized SHE WAS CHOKING!!!!!!!!!!

She had swallowed the treat WHOLE!! Well, I did what first came to my mind...I pried her mouth open and shoved my finger down her throat. I just barely knicked the treat...but it did the trick and she gagged a bit, brought part of it back up, then ate it again. But let me tell you, no more whole treats for Maddie! It wasn't a hard treat either! It was a soft chewy treat. Now I am breaking them in half for her before giving her anymore!
