Well, little Enzo has had a rough few months. First 3 or 4 were great. Then we took him recently for his neutering and the vet did a blood test on him. Turns out it was a good thing they did the $30
OPTIONAL blood test, as they diagnosed him with a liver shunt. So now we get to look forward to tons of bills for getting that figured all out. At least he still acts like our little baby though.
Or I should say "did" act that way. Until the other night. Was chewing on one of his treats, "Barx". About an hour later he vomited pretty badly. Then started making the dry heaving sound. That night, he did it ALL night, to the point where I didnt sleep a bit. Just kept up with him massaging his belly and throat to try to help him. We live way out in the country, so driving an hour in to the E.R. Vet wasnt really an option. Plus I could tell he was breathing somewhat alright, it was just the heaving and "honking" noise. I could tell it made him uncomfortable though.
So we called the vet the next morning and they basically said "yeah it was probably from the vomiting."
Ok so...that was Tuesday night. Today is Saturday and he's still doing it. Think its still from the vomiting?

I am starting to wonder about how much we can trust our vet that we go to.
Anyways, would like your experience, or if this sounds like it is worse than the vet said?
Thanks much
