That is one of the worst things I have heard, I wouldn't tolerate it from a doctor, I wouldn't tolerate it from a vet. Imagine how helpful he would be in an emergency???!!!
I went to a new vet recently b/c regular vet was out of town. He could not answer all of my questions, but, you know what, he left the room, looked it up and came back with an answer!
