I know exactlly what your talking about. It happend to me when Buddy was
around one it seemed to start and has not stopped. He actually pulled so hard the first time the leash opened and he went after and got a Huskie!
I was so shocked I screamed. Out of the blue he deceided not like large strange dogs he is not familiar with. We have been working on this for 1 1/2 yrs. It has gotten better but at times he gets spastic! It's really scary.
I wish I could help you more. I even ordered and received Ceaser Milan DVD'S for help. It is important to distract them and gain their attention when you see another dog coming. Try treats also. Good luck
