I just wanted to add that I purchased Terri's whelping video. VERY informative. There is a whole section covering tails and dew claws. (after watching, a couple being done I had to fast forward and then decided I'd be having my vet do them!)
I have 3 different videos now. You may want to purchase one too. they have LOTS of information.
