My youngest sister's shepherd, boxer and border collie crawled under the fence of their new outdoor pen this morning and made their way 1/4 mile down the road to the neighbor's farm. Somehow they got into the hog pen and were chasing the pigs. The neighbor shot and killed the shepherd and boxer. The border collie made it home. Animal control came to the house with the other 2 dogs in the back of their truck. They were very courteous to my brother-in-law and offered to let him see them. He declined because he has been ill and thought it would cause him to have another heart attack. The boxer was his baby, she was 8 yrs old. The shepherd belonged to my 11 yr old niece, Madison. Honey slept with her every night. When she came home from school this afternoon her family was waiting for her. She came in the house and looked at them and asked where Honey was. Honey waited for her to come home from school everyday.
Please, prayers for Madi tonight. The whole family is hurting so much. Everyone is blaming themselves. Little Madison just knows that her Honey is gone. Please, prayers for Madi. Thank you.
