Rebel did the same thing in the yard until he got big enough to go up the steps by himself. Now when I call them in, he trots right along behind Lucy and comes in the house.
He's still kind of like that in the house though. It's like he's afraid I'll put him in the playpen every time I pick him up. (which I don't)
