Mac's Prep and Prime is kind of like a base, it helps your makeup adhere to the skin better and stay looking smoother for a longer amount of time. It puts a barrier between your skin and the makeup so the makeup is going on this perfectly smooth silky base instead of your skins natural base which allows the makeup to seep into your pores and make your makeup look cakey.

Foundation: I use Mac's Tint since it's not too cakey
Powder: Mac's sheer powder compact
Eyeliner: Clinique quickliner in really black, it doesn't smudge for me at all.
Eyeshadow: I have a ton of Mac eyeshadows since my mom got me one of those 15 colored palletes a while back but I mainly just use: shroom for under my brow, and I use cork for my lid it's a very light brown color and I put satin taupe over that.
Lips: I don't use lipstick except for some chapstick and gloss sometimes.
Mascara: I use Katie B's faux lash mascara. She is not too well known yet for her makeup line but is pretty well known for her make up artist skills. her website is katiebco.com
Eyebrows: I use MAC's eyebrow coloring thing...it comes w/ an eyebrow powder and a highlighter (under the brow). I also use a wax stick to keep my eyebrows from flopping. |
