However, for some reason here lately they've been taking looooong afternoon naps and guess what...they think bedtime is playtime! If I put their toys in the basket and turn out the lights they stay with me but if I lay down and watch t.v. for a while they take off running through the house like 2 crazy boys! Actually, it's kind of funny to hear them clicking their toenails across the floor when they stalk and chase each other through the dark! It seems like one of them always has to get up to go pee one last time or get that last drink before morning...I guess they're really not so different than kids |
Howie thinks night time is play time too! That's why I mean by maybe he still has so much energy becuase he sleeps during the day while I'm not home. I have no clue. But, that's what I'm thinking. I'm tired so I don't follow him out all the time (unless I hear him stop in a place for awhile - that usually means he's up to something). But, if I hear his nails clacking, I know he's just running around being goofy. When he does finally get in bed, he'll sleep til he has to go pee. But when he does, it's back to square one...trying to get him back in bed. Usually it won't be more than 15 minutes and he'll crawl back to his space.
