What I did was, leave a little piece of poop on the pad you want her to go on. Piper would return to smell it on her pad & go again. It takes a long time to fully train or to say they NEVER have an accident. Sometimes Piper will deliberately poop where she is at, & not on the pad. She is 9 months & I know she knows the difference, because she doesn't run to me for a treat. That is one thing she has always done. Misha my maltese hasn't had an accident since she was 5 months. I think sometimes Piper does it for attention. She hadn't done this for a couple of months. I went away for a weekend, & as soon as I came through the door with in 10 min, she poop on the floor. Hubby said she was punishing me for leaving her with him. LOL
Good luck, she is very young & sometimes it takes up to a year is what I have read.
