Oliver may be part bloodhound! He learned something neat the otherday while playing fetch. I would pretend to throw his squeeker and then when he wasn't looking I would hide it (under my blanket, on the couch, near the fireplace, etc.) and then I would tell him to "find it" and he would go off sniffin around with his nose stuck to the floor looking for his toy. (there were other toys out on the floor but he wanted to "find" this one) He didn't give up either! For 5 minutes (with plenty of distractions like the roomies coming downstairs and the back porch being left open and food cooking in the kitchen and he even took a few second break to drink some water and go to the bathroom) but he kept looking around for his toy and sniffing everywhere. Once he saw it he was SO happy and would lunge for it to start playing again.
It was cute so I thought I would share.
Any else's baby part bloodhound here? haha |
