Default How to get your baby to go to bed

I just recently (a few days) started letting Howie sleep in my room with me. I'm not comfortable with him sleeping in the bed with me yet because I'm not sure how he'll do with going out when he needs to pee or poo. But, I put his bed in a nice cozy place in my room where I can see him from my bed. But, my question is...how do you get your little ones to go to sleep when you do? The first night he did fine, but I think he was just exhausted. But, the past couple of nights, he's be running around still. I leave the door cracked open so he'll be able to get out if he needs to. But, he'll run in and out when he's not sleepy yet. I'm afraid to close the door because I might not hear him in the middle of the night and don't want him to have an accident in my room (although I've been up every couple hours at least since he's been in the room because I'm worried).

So, do your yorkies go to bed when you do?
