i kept mine in for 2 pregnancies never had a problem it didn't bother me one bit you just have to watch it to make sure it looks ok but honestly unless you have your belly button pop out (extremely) there shouldn't be a problem i had a hoop though not a bar bell i think the hoop gives it more room for your belly to grow |
