Don't know about that....there appears to be vets on every corner here. In a 5 mile radius I counted 12. Don't know why the prices are so high....I lived in Huntington Beach, CA, pretty pricey area.....vets were very reasonable.

I've never left my kids overnight after a spay/nueter....when told they had to stay, I'd follow up with my usual question; do you have qualified personel on the premises 24/7, if not, I'm taking them home. That way if there's a problem I can see that they get to the Emergency Vet. That way the cost for an overnight stay is not part of the bill.
