I agree it sounds fishy as hell and makes you wonder why they get to sleep on the mattress and the baby in a car seat. I hate to say it sounds drug related, (parents fell asleep after getting high). My SO is a detective and he tells me similiar stories. It sounds like the same scenario, no furniture, baby and dog are hungry, baby can't sleep. Baby has feet wiggling in the seat, dog sees it and grabs a hold. Parents are high and are knocked out, can't hear baby crying. Someone should knock them the hell out. Better yet, let a bigger rott chew on their toes to see how it feels. I hope this was a case of a couple who were that tired from working to survive and fell to a deep sleep.
