I used one of those small plastic swimming pools for a whelping box at first and then graduated to a home-made "condo." I kept the heating pad under the blanket on one side of the box, or in the bedroom of the condo for the pups. I still keep one, on chilly days, in the laundry where Darla stays during the day. Never had a problem. |
