Should I keep her away from the male when she is pregnant ? they are very close, But they also play very hard, She runs so fast and long that she makes me dizzy. She is the agressive player of the 2 and always wants to play and play and play.... does this change when she is pregnant. how careful do you have to be. She has a habit of jumping, I mean she could jump straight up almost to my head and I am 5'7. I know that they are very active dogs but WOW. Does letting her play the same as she does now when she is pregnant make a difference ? |
The dew claws are cut/clipped, then a sceptic stick is applied to hinder bleeding. Tails are also cut, but clamped 1st with hemostat.
Yes, you need to keep watch on her very diligently in the last couple of weeks, especially the last one . I hinder their activity in the last trimester.
You're little girl is still not a year and a puppy.....she'll slow down, this is what I meant about maturing out before breeding.....
I keep my girls separated from my boys until I'm sure they are with whelp. Then they're allowed outside to play together, but watched very carefully.
