It's very wise to plan the cost of the puppy (I think the first year of puppy's life is most expensive...) but remember there are also emergencies (I hope you won't experience that part). In the first 4 months owning Pepper his expenses 'cost' me more than I paid for him, and we know Yorkies aren't cheap. He did have one emergency stay - after a toxic vaccine. Well, answering your question though, he was neutered yesterday and the cost was very reasonable, bloodwork 67 $ and neuter 167 $ (the vet flushed his tear ducts as well). I skipped microchip and he didn't need any teeth pulled - that would make the cost higher. |
