If you don't want to make the purchase but want another dog, you should go to the ASPC. They will allow you to "adopt" a dog and if it doesn't work out, you can return it to them. They really want to find the right fit for you and their dogs. This way, you can make sure your little guy really likes the other dog! No strings attached and a heck of a lot cheaper! I think this is what I will do if we decide to get a second dog.
