I'll be 55 in January, too! I've gone the 'no color' route; but, on me, just makes me look more tired. My mother had absolutely stunning white hair. Sounds like you're blessed the same way

And, as far as going blonde - some of us just don't have the skin tones for blonde. LOL.....I canNOT imagine me a blonde!
