I do wish you luck in finding the perfect Yorkie addition to your family. How exciting -- a new marriage and a new Yorkie -- what a great combination! Sounds like your husband-to-be is a dog lover too. We just recently got another Yorkie -- Sadie is a sweet addiiton and actually has brought out more of Ben's personality just being here. I love to watch the two of them together. They have become fast buddies. I don't think there is a single negative to having two of them -- it is all good!
Many years ago we too raised labs. We had them in field trials -- they loved the outdoors, the freedom to run and play. They are not little house pets -- that would probably make most of them miserable. Don't let the PM get to you -- different breeds need different things.
