I too, am appalled that someone would PM you and tell you that you are irresponsible for keeping labs outside. But then I grew up on a farm and understand all manner of animals, both inside and outside. Labs are definitely outside dogs - although I'm sure that some love being in the house!
Anyway, I had Rowdy a year before I got Rexy and I can tell you that I'm sorry I didn't get Rexy sooner. They are such good friends and wonderful companions. The joy you get from having a Yorkie is doubled and I truly believe that they do better in pairs as someone mentioned earlier.
I think it really is better for them to have another Yorkie to grow up with!!!
