I know what you mean about them not liking clothes. The first time I put a sweater on Rowdy, he acted like he had rigor mortis!!! He was stiff, wouldn't walk, move, or anything. But we were in the mountains, and it was very cold (we are from Texas and he wasn't used to such cold) and he was shaking all the time we would be outside for him to potty. I kept trying to get him used to the sweater because I knew it would keep him warmer. One time I put it on him and he saw something he wanted to chase, and he took off. From that moment on I guess he realized that he could move just fine with the sweater on and he hasn't had any problems since then. I think sometimes they just have to get used to it. However, if they always seem to hate the clothes, then I don't think you should dress them. I only put sweaters on my boys when it is really cold and they are shaking.
