This was scarey but my vet insisted on putting the tube down Chewy's thraot. He said some dogs throw up while under and it is how they keep them from choking...Chewy is small...(They all are) 4 pounds... and so I told the vet I think he has collapsted treak...So I made sure they used a really small tube so it would not injure his throat! I was so scared they wrote it on the chart...(I saw it at one point!) I had the blood work done ahead so I knew it was done and they had it in their hands before doing the surgery! I told my vet, you may do this every day but I don't and i am scared to death my baby won't make it. I told him he would have to put me in a straight jacket if any thing happened to my little tiny baby... They took really good are of him and called me when it was over to let me know everything was fine....
