I have never used wee wee pads and can't speak for or against them. I have always trained my dogs to go outside. I live in NJ, my yorkie loves to be outside rain or shine so far. When I first got her I threw her a party everytime she went to the bathroom outside. I also rewarded her for making noise near the door to go outside. I still use a crate for her if I will be gone for more than 2 hrs. I believe that you really can't 100% trust a dog to be housebroken until they are 2 yrs. old. |
