They will learn when they are older, it just takes a little bit of patience
. Maizee would cry until she was about a year old because her first couple of months home, I would hold her all the time. But I got her in the summer and had to start going back to class in the fall, so Maizee had to learn to sit by herself. It took a bit, but she learned and she doesn't cry anymore when she knows I HAVE to be gone. Leaving for something that I don't have to go for is another story though. . . smart dogs, they are
