I know most dogs go through coat changes, so it could just be a phase. Maizee's hair was stringy before she lost it all. I'm sure your yorkie won't lose her hair, but I think different yorkies do have different hair types. I would prefer a puppy cut, but only because it would be so hard to keep her hair managed. But I'm lazy
