My vet said that she dosen't give pain meds unless its absolutely necessary, she adds some pain med into the anesthesia....Widget lazed around the first day. but has been running around ever since, seems not to have bothered her at all, she's now 8 days past her surgery with stitches still,,,,but I was worried myself, so know what you're going thru,,,,,hope she is fine now
