Mr. Dexter,
I dont think anyone was ostrasizing chocolate yorkies at all or suggesting that they should be put down when they are born. That would be crazy to even think such a thing. The thing I dont understand is when you see these breeders selling blue ones and chocolates also for outrageous prices (4000.00-5000.00) because they say they are rare. There are those times when you do get these puppies, not because you intentionally breed for them, but because it was a fluke as another person stated. It is the times when you continue to breed them knowing that is what you are going to get or try to sell the ones you do get for $5000.00 to some unknowing person that thinks they are getting something special and rare. All puppies are special but if you are selling blue born ones knowing what kind of a painful awlful life they may have like the article mentioned just to stick $5000.00 in your greedy pocket, then that is a sad sad thing.
