I do think a lot of puppies go through a stage where they don't look their best.... just a stage!
And - for sure - some of the pups with the thinnest hair grow the thickest coats when they get older.
Unfortunately, I think you're going to just have to wait and see what you get - and I would guess that it will be just fine...
