I gotta tell you that I used this stuff on me

I try to wash my hair only every other day, but was never able to go that third day without looking oily. I am on day 3 right now with no sign of the greasies, yay!!!

My girls' heads don't look greasy either. Give it a shot, if you don't like it on your pup, you're sure to love it for you
