The detangler and shine smells wonderful, almost heavenly!!! I don't know about the shampoo as I use another product. The detangler and shine really looks "oily" but once is dries it leaves the coat with a shine and smells good and it is great for taking mats out.......simply wonderful. I apply it to a mat and let it set for about 5 minutes and then just work the mat out. I love this stuff! I also use it on my maltese who has a very thick and cottony coat whereas my yorkie has a thinner softer coat.
