Actually...to tell ya the truth, I'm not sure WHAT his coat is, LOL. It may be somewhere in the middle??? But I do know that he has a very THICK coat. The only time I have a problem with matting is if I don't take his clothes off of him every single day and brush him out (which I normally ALWAYS do) - because the hair of course WILL get matted underneath the clothes (especially his little legs). The hair on the top of his head will sometimes start looking a little "oily" after about 4 days or so after he has had a bath - so I wonder if this shampoo/conditioner helps with that?
