Well, one thing I think would avoid controversy is to send someone a PM. Rather than calling someone out on the forum, you could just PM them as long as its not in a harrassing manner. I think often people are misunderstood and it just has to do with their writing style. I think the whole thing about the contest could have been avoided if instead of posting publicly about phoebesmom joining just to vote, the member that was worried about the rules of the contest shouldve just pm'd her or pm'd admin about it. |
