know what worked for my Mom's house. Several years ago a woodpecker began pecking on my Mom's house .... checked for all the reasons ... there was none other than it seemed he just enjoyed pissing her off!
We tried everything because this little lady in her 80's was threatening to blow his red head off!!
After making sure there was no gun at hand ... my bil who is from Minnesota said he had a solution that would work. He bought those realistic looking lifesized rubber snakes and hung it next to the woodpecker's pecking spots. He never, ever pecked again!! Go figure!!!
