HI, I'm new to this forum and just wanted to say how nice to find a place like this. I have a 19 month old Yorkie, her name is Maki, and she's really really sick. She has been hospitalized since the Dec.1st and she has had ups and downs, but right now she's doing really bad. She has a liver shunt (for which she has been medically treated since 4 months old; she also had surgery for that) and has started developing seizures and generalized edema (she's swollen) among other problems. We are completely heart-broken, we love her sooo much and want her to get better soon!!! Please include my Maki in your prayers tonight!
