We just picked up our new little Yorkie (Baxter). He is just over 8 weeks old and is doing very well with his potty training outside. We have been having an issue the first couple of nights with him whining and barking. We have setup a wired dog cage in our kitchen area with his Kennel cab inside that. First night he whined and barked for about 20 minutes then went off to sleep. Last night, he slept for about an hour and then woke up and continued to bark and whine for about an hour until I finally got up and laid on the couch so he could see me there. We have been very good about leaving him to bark, but last night he seemed to have an endless amount of wind for it. I think we are on the right path for sleep training, any suggestions would be appreciated.
