Unfortunately since she did offer to return your full purchase price on return of the dog, there is probably little else to do. In the US most states have some sort of Pet Lemon law -- but those are usually limited to problems in the first 10-30 days after purchase and only include diseases or conditions that affect the health of the animal. Not being able to show or breed doesn't seem to be covered.

She is right that a monorchid is usually CAPABLE of breeding but from everything I have been reading, they should NOT be bred so that future complications can be avoided (not sure what those complications are though -- I am in learning/absorption mode). It is also genetic and the tendency should not be increased in the gene pool.

I wonder why they don't just do the surgery to let the little thing descend. They do that on humans. Anyway.... I would just have the little guy neutered, spoil him and love him!
