Pepper is 6 months old and goes only on the pad. Not really my choice as I'm trying to make him go outside as well but he doesn't 'feel the need'
... He holds until he goes on the pad. I tried taking the pad outside, sprayed special drops around the backyard and nothing
. As it's cold now, I can't take him out for too long but on the warm days I took him to the park for a few hours and he still held it until home. Well, having a pad trained dog has advantages too, esp on those blistery cold winter weekend mornings
