Maggie had 8 of them...all on the bottom as I recall, and we had them pulled when we had her spayed. The problem with just leaving them in is that the double row serves as a trap for food (unless you want to try flossing) which leads to premature decay and loss of the permanent teeth. It really is worth doing ... scariest thing (for me anyway) is the anesthesia issue. The tooth pulling doesn't seem to bother these little ones too much. |
