I know exactly what you mean...
When I first got my new little Yorkie pup --- my dear little full-grown bichon used to come into my office dragging the little pup who was hanging on to one of his ears. He really came in every once in a while so that I would "unhook" the Yorkie. And this didn't just happen once -- it happened all the time for the first few weeks.
