I sometimes feel like that too. I was rather depressed if you read my thread about a month ago but I feel better now because I took the advice of some of the YT members who are kind enough to provide emotional support and offer me advices. I eat healthier now and try to get sufficient exercise. Even if I do not go out, I work myself out doing housework and sweat it off. I also wake up early and open up all the curtain to get more light in and to enjoy longer hours of sunlight because I find that it does make me feel better; much better. I also make stuff now for my Siu Pao baby. I cannot afford a sewing machine yet so I stitch..its slow progress but who cares..so long it turns out nice and I get to personalize everything. I also bought some acrylic paints from the Dollar Store to start painting some art to hang around in my house. And I play with Siu Pao lots..we don't get to go out often because of the cold but we sure do play more...Try doing stuff at home...I now think that I am able to enjoy my own company more..its true that sometimes you'd rather stay home enjoy your time with a dog than seeing some people.Try sipping chinese tea, herb tea or coffee in front of the window in the morning..it sure does make me feel way better.
I do not have friends here, now I have like one girlfriend but it sure isn't easy to make friends in a big city. My husband has his friends so he is hanging out to play poker and watches football so I stay home plus its my first time going through winter and I don't really know my way around.He sometimes travels too so I am home alone. It gets pretty lonely but its getting better. |
