When we took Mojo to the vet for blood coming out of his penis, we found out he had rubbed it raw half way down from the tip...the sore bled and that was what caused the bleeding. The vet said it is NOT good at all for the boys to do that because it can cause sooo many other problems. She even said that sometimes, if the penis is stuck out for a long time, that the tissue can die and then it has to be removed!!!! So, Mojo went in to get neutered (well, for many reasons)......he hasn't "humped" anything since! The vet said that getting neutered would help it, but might not stop it, but he hasn't done that since we got him neutered! Scary stuff!!! I read so much online that day that he had blood, that I knew he would be neutered and soon!
