Hmmm...I guess I never thought about this. Of course I don't live in the best neighborhood. People walking down my street think it's ok to throw their trash in my yard...so I guess that I don't worry about my puppy sniffing their mailboxes.
But everybody is right about watching out for other dogs. I really want Syd to get along with other dogs. But she seems to provoke them into meaness. We passed a guy with an older beagle this weekend. Syd starting barking and next thing you know the beagle was trying to break his leash so that he could kill Syd. The owner acted surprised that his dog was acting like that. I think that she just brings out the worst in other dogs.
