I'd try a different approach. try just brushing his head and making it relaxing for him - don't even try the band - just keep doing that a few times a day or whenever and get him used to you working with his hair
little by little ...try gathering up the hair and start with just a little topnkot - he may think it's going to hurt him 0R maybe it does hurt him - so make it a bit loose....but not so loose it moves around on his head
or you could even try a little clip that comes out easy - but watch out for those - they can pinch their heads if you do it too close to the skin & if they get them out they can chew or possibly swallow them |
