Thanks so much! Yeah, he's pretty out of it right now, and I was super worried, but now I'm okay (I think). Did it take Harry a while to want to eat dry kibble? My husband just put a little water on Rex's Innova Dry to soften it up, and Rex gobbled it right up. We only fed him half of what we normally feed in one day, so he doesn't overdo it.
The vet advised the pain meds for at least 4 days, maybe all 6, depending on Rex's demeanor, and he took one tonight with no problem, so that's good! We've been cuddling the heck out of him, as he's been whining and whimpering a little bit (I think he's just confused about how he's feeling). I'm looking forward to how he acts in the morning - although the subdued version of Rex is nice and relaxing, I miss my spunky little furball!
Thanks again for your thoughtfulness and for answering me!
