I bought a supplement called Angel's Eyes from my groomer. Her Maltese used to have the icky red-stained under her eyes, but now they're gone. It's actually just freeze-dried beef liver, ground up. I found some treats that are just the liver cubed, so I'm going to try grinding those up in the food processor and see if I can get the same powdery consistancy. If it works, it's a lot cheaper to buy the treats
The stuff does work for Luna, btw, cuz she had icky rusty eye goo and now it's just clear and very light
. I hardly have to do her eyes at all anymore, and it was B A D before. Izzy's eyes are pretty clear already, but she gets Angel's too anyway
