I've heard that smaller yorkies were supposed to have more health problems, but I have YET to see Maizee have any problems, so I don't know if it's just her, or if health problems don't really affect smaller dogs any differently. As for larger dogs, I wouldn't mind having a larger yorkie. They are all so much fun. My friend has two larger ones, an 11 lb and 15 lb and they are so adorable and full of energy. It just depends how much you are willing to spend on any dog. I guess just set your standards and don't cross them. Good luck to you if you can get one! They are a joy
