With my experience I would not put them directly on carpet, but maybe place a plastic tablecloth (dollar store) or something underneath to test it out.

You may have a very neat doggie who doesn't go to close to the edge and doesn't urinate a lot. It may work fine for you.

I was frustrated with the wee-wee pads, felt like I was doing laundry all the time and wiping up footprints. I switched to an indoor potty system called the Wizdog and it has worked much better for us, but we all have to evaluate our own situation!

Good luck!
Those are kinda pricey! I think, when I bought one, I only paid $13.00 for it..and that was from a pharmacy..the ones I have I got from a hospital...my Mother had surgery and they usually put them on the beds...when it was time for her to come home, Dad and I picked her up...this clean mattress protector was just put on her bed...I looked at her and said..PUT THAT IN YOUR BAG!! LOL just as she did the nurse came in!! I told the nurse what I needed it for and she left the room..(I thought I was in trouble!) and came back with ANOTHER ONE! she said this one is better...(I still took the other one) but, I have NEVER had a problem with leaking through..
